In one of the neighborhoods of Mersin in southern Turkey, a Syrian refugee child lives with a severe mental and physical disability, requiring constant medical care, treatment, and ongoing support.
A child who should have been living the innocence of childhood now spends his days struggling with pain and illness, while his family faces extremely difficult living conditions and overwhelming financial hardship that has deprived them even of the ability to afford proper medical treatment.
Recently, the child suffered a sudden medical emergency, leaving the family terrified and helpless as they stood unable to cover the costs of treatment and medication needed to ease his suffering and save his condition from worsening.
Thanks to Allah, and then thanks to your generous donations, we were able to intervene urgently and provide financial assistance to help cover the child’s treatment and medical care expenses, becoming — by the will of Allah — a source of relief and hope for this exhausted family during one of the hardest moments of their lives.
What may seem like a simple act of support to some became, for this family, safety after fear, hope after despair, and mercy at a time when hardship had overwhelmed them.
There are still countless refugee families and sick children waiting for a helping hand, as illness and poverty continue to burden thousands of displaced people living far from their homeland without support or stability.
We ask Allah to accept from everyone who contributed to and supported this humanitarian effort, to place your generosity in the scale of your good deeds, and to grant healing and relief to this child and every suffering patient in need.
