Christian orphanges and other NGO's from developing countries reached out to Dr. Lee for help with their programs. Dr. Lee was impressed with the homes built and care provided, but the absence of education was troubling.
In 2011, Dr. Lee created Children of the Night WOW - Children of the Night With Out Walls to provide education to child sex trafficking victims who lacked viable economic alternative to prostitution as a means to support their families.
In 2020, Children of the Night tutored 23 sex trafficking vicitms in Africa, India and Nepal.
The tutoring required 630 hours of one on one ZOOM tutoring in English and Math.
The students ranged in age from 11 to 26 years old.
3 of the students tutored in a drop in center in India and 20 other students tutored in a children's home in Nepal and Tanzania.
All of our students were female.
This is the begining our our global tutoring program and in 2021, with additional resources, we plan on tutoring a lot more.
