In recent months, the LEAP Leadership Institute proudly inaugurated the 2023 cohort of its pioneering Young African Women Leaders Programme. This programme, designed exclusively for young African women aged 22-35, has garnered remarkable attention, drawing in over 6,000 applications from enthusiastic participants spanning 10 African countries.
Commencing from the 14th of August until the 2nd of September 2023, the inaugural cohort - 5200 young African Women, will embark on a unique experience that seamlessly blends virtual engagement with a physical boot camp. This program will empower, equip, and propel African women into the forefront of leadership, reinforcing the institute's commitment to nurturing capable leaders who possess the requisite skills to embrace practical leadership roles across the African continent.
At its core, this program is curated to deliver an enriching blend of exposure, skills acquisition, and confidence-building, positioning these young women to spearhead positive change within their communities and beyond. Selected members of this 2023 cohort represent a pivotal step towards cultivating a generation of African female leaders who are ready to navigate the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, armed with the knowledge and capabilities needed to drive meaningful progress in Africa.
We are counting on your unwavering support in equipping more Africans with the right leadership skills for the continent’s development.
Thank you.
