Give the Gift of Knowledge

Quarterly Educational Support Report – May 2026

At Iraqi Children’s Hope Organization (ICHOPE), we believe that education is one of the most powerful ways to restore hope and build a brighter future for vulnerable children. Through the continued generosity of our donors and supporters, our “Give the Gift of Knowledge” program has continued to provide critical academic assistance to children facing educational hardship, learning gaps, and difficult living conditions.

Over the past three months, the program focused on helping struggling students improve their academic performance, strengthen their confidence, and prepare successfully for school examinations. Many of the children we support are orphans or come from underserved families where access to educational resources and academic guidance is extremely limited.

Program Highlights – Past Three Months

During this reporting period:

· 41 students participated in the tutoring and academic support program.

· 8 teachers provided individualized tutoring sessions and small-group instruction in core subjects.

· 5 volunteers assisted with student coordination, follow-up, attendance, and educational activities.

· More than 120 tutoring sessions were conducted to help students prepare for end-of-term exams and strengthen weak academic areas.

Educational Support Activities

The program continued to focus on personalized educational support tailored to each child’s needs. Key activities included:

Individual Academic Assistance

Students received direct support in mathematics, reading, science, and language subjects.

Teachers worked closely with students who were struggling academically, helping them better understand school lessons and complete assignments.

Exam Preparation Sessions

Special review classes and practice exercises were organized to prepare students for final examinations. Teachers focused on improving comprehension, study habits, and test-taking confidence.

Parent Communication and Follow-Up

Program staff-maintained communication with parents and guardians to monitor student progress and encourage consistent attendance and learning support at home.

Emotional Encouragement and Motivation

In addition to academic instruction, teachers and volunteers created a positive and encouraging learning environment where students felt supported, respected, and motivated to continue their education.

Impact and Results

Your support continues to create meaningful change in the lives of these children.

· Many students demonstrated noticeable improvement in reading comprehension, homework completion, and classroom participation.

· Students who previously struggled with confidence became more engaged and motivated in their studies.

· Teachers reported stronger student participation and better readiness for school examinations.

· Families expressed appreciation for the academic and emotional support their children received during this important period.

For many of these children, the tutoring program represents far more than academic help. It provides stability, encouragement, and the reassurance that someone believes in their future.

Because of your kindness and continued partnership, vulnerable children are gaining not only knowledge, but also confidence, hope, and a renewed belief in their ability to succeed.

Thank you for helping us continue this important mission.
