When a girl becomes a teenage mother, the challenges she faces are rarely hers alone. Family rejection, stigma, poverty, interrupted education, and community judgment can leave her feeling isolated and without a pathway forward.

F SSIBU Mission Foundation believes that restoring hope requires more than supporting the individual girl. It requires strengthening the family and community systems around her.

Through our Restoring Hope for Teenage Mothers program, we engage parents, guardians, community leaders, and other stakeholders to encourage acceptance, protection, and positive support for young mothers. We provide counselling, mentorship, sexual and reproductive health education, parenting guidance, and opportunities for skills development.

Our goal is to help create an environment where a teenage mother can raise her child safely while continuing to pursue education, vocational training, or a livelihood opportunity. We also encourage families to protect girls from further exploitation, violence, stigma, and repeated pregnancies.

Donor support can help us reach more vulnerable teenage mothers with counselling, family dialogue, skills training, essential supplies, health referrals, and community awareness.

When a family chooses support instead of rejection, a girl gains confidence. When a community chooses compassion instead of stigma, a young mother gains a chance to rebuild.

Together, we can help transform vulnerable teenage mothers into empowered women capable of protecting their children, strengthening their families, and contributing positively to their communities.
