For many teenage mothers, poverty creates a cycle that is difficult to escape. Leaving school because of pregnancy can limit future opportunities, while lack of income makes it harder to provide food, healthcare, education, and basic necessities for their children.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working to break this cycle through the Restoring Hope for Teenage Mothers program. Our approach focuses on helping young mothers develop the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills they need to build more stable lives.
We support vulnerable teenage mothers through vocational training, modern farming skills, entrepreneurship guidance, counselling, mentorship, and family engagement. Girls can be equipped to explore income-generating opportunities such as tailoring, hairdressing, poultry farming, agriculture, crafts, and other locally relevant activities.
We believe sustainable change happens when a young mother has the tools to create her own opportunities. With appropriate training and continued mentorship, she can begin generating income, meeting her child’s needs, and contributing positively to her household.
Donor support can help provide training materials, equipment, agricultural inputs, starter resources, counselling, and livelihood opportunities for young mothers who have very few options.
Your contribution is more than financial assistance. It is an investment in resilience, independence, and dignity.
Together, we can help teenage mothers move beyond crisis, strengthen their families, and create sustainable futures where their children can grow with greater security, hope, and opportunity.
