Behind every teenage mother is a young person with potential, dreams, and a future that still matters. When pregnancy results in school dropout, family rejection, or abandonment, that potential can become difficult to see. Our Restored Hope for Teenage Mothers Program is committed to helping these young mothers discover that their future can still be rebuilt.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation is supporting more than 120 teenage mothers across communities including Ksmuli, Mwanyagiri, and Kirinya. Many face the combined pressures of caring for young children, limited education, lack of income, and social isolation.
We work to create supportive pathways through counselling, mentorship, reproductive health education, family engagement, and practical skills development. Tailoring, hairdressing, electrical skills, craft work, and modern farming can help young mothers develop capabilities that may eventually support household income.
Our work also encourages families and communities to see these young mothers not simply through the circumstances they have experienced, but through their abilities and potential. When a young mother gains a skill, receives encouragement, or finds a supportive environment, she gains another opportunity to shape her future.
Donors make this work possible. Their support can provide training materials, mentorship, essential assistance, and opportunities for young mothers who have very few resources.
Help us restore possibilities where hope has been interrupted. By standing with teenage mothers today, you can help them build skills, confidence, independence, and a more secure future for themselves and their children.
