More than 120 teenage mothers in Ksmuli, Mwanyagiri, and Kirinya villages are navigating motherhood while facing challenges that can make their future uncertain. Some have been abandoned by partners, while others have limited family or financial support.
Through our Restored Hope for Teenage Mothers initiative, F SSIBU Mission Foundation is creating opportunities for these young mothers to rebuild their confidence and work toward greater stability.
Our support focuses on mentorship, counseling, reproductive health education, parenting guidance, and practical skills development. We want young mothers to have access to knowledge and opportunities that can help them make informed decisions and plan for their future.
Skills such as tailoring, hairdressing, crafts, modern farming, poultry, and other vocational activities can provide pathways toward self-reliance when combined with appropriate training, tools, and mentorship.
We also recognize the children being raised by these young mothers. Supporting a mother can contribute to better opportunities for her child.
Donors can help us expand this work by supporting training materials, equipment, mentorship sessions, counseling, and livelihood opportunities.
Every young mother reached is an opportunity to strengthen a family.
With continued partnership, we can help these 120+ young mothers move beyond abandonment and hardship toward greater confidence, dignity, skills, and hope.
