Leaving school because of pregnancy can interrupt a young woman's education, but it does not have to permanently end her learning journey. Restored Hope for Teenage Mothers seeks to connect young mothers with appropriate second-chance education, vocational training, literacy opportunities, and other learning pathways where available.
F SSIBU works with young mothers to understand their circumstances, interests, and educational goals and then identify suitable opportunities. Where returning to formal education is possible, participants can be encouraged and supported to explore that pathway. Others may benefit from vocational or community-based learning that builds practical skills.
Donor support can help provide learning materials, transportation assistance, training costs, childcare-related support where appropriate, and follow-up encouragement. These contributions can reduce some barriers that prevent young mothers from continuing their personal development.
Education can strengthen a young mother's ability to understand opportunities, make informed decisions, earn income, and support her child's future.
For donors, supporting second-chance learning is an investment in possibility. It communicates to a young mother that pregnancy and school dropout do not have to determine the rest of her life.
Through Restored Hope, F SSIBU seeks to help young mothers reclaim learning opportunities, strengthen their skills, and build pathways toward greater independence while caring for their children.
