For teenage mothers living in communities where agriculture is an important source of household income, practical agricultural skills can provide opportunities for livelihood development. Yet many young mothers lack access to training, productive resources, and mentorship.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation seeks to introduce vulnerable teenage mothers to practical activities such as poultry keeping, modern farming, kitchen gardening, and other locally appropriate livelihood skills through Restore Hope for Abandoned Teenage Mothers.
Training can focus on basic production, animal care, food production, household nutrition, record keeping, savings, and responsible management of small livelihood activities. Where resources permit, selected participants may also receive starter support to help them begin applying the skills they have learned.
The intended impact is to help young mothers develop realistic pathways toward greater household stability. Producing food can also contribute to household nutrition while small agricultural enterprises may create opportunities for income.
Donor support can help fund training sessions, demonstration activities, agricultural inputs, poultry-related materials, and mentorship.
Your support can help a young mother transform knowledge into practical action—creating opportunities to produce food, earn income, and build a more secure environment for her child.
