Help Sexual abuse survivors go back to school

For an abandoned teenage mother, having a practical skill can become an important step toward rebuilding financial independence. Without employable skills, she may remain dependent on others and struggle to provide basic needs for herself and her child.

F SSIBU Mission Foundation seeks to equip vulnerable teenage mothers with sewing and tailoring skills through the Restore Hope for Abandoned Teenage Mothers program. Training can introduce participants to garment making, basic repairs, design, production, customer service, and other practical competencies appropriate to their level.

The goal is to move beyond short-term relief by helping young mothers acquire abilities that can potentially generate income. A trained young mother may eventually use her skills to seek employment, provide tailoring services, produce items for sale, or progress toward establishing a small enterprise.

Skills training can also restore confidence. Learning something practical and seeing personal progress can help a young mother recognize her capabilities and begin planning for a more independent future.

Donor contributions can support training materials, sewing equipment, instructors, learning space, and starter resources for selected beneficiaries.
