Abandonment can affect more than a teenage mother’s finances. It can leave her feeling rejected, isolated, frightened, or uncertain about whether she has a future. Without supportive relationships, these experiences can make it difficult for a young mother to seek help or participate confidently in opportunities around her.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation provides psychosocial support through the Restore Hope for Abandoned Teenage Mothers program, creating safe opportunities for young mothers to talk about their experiences, receive encouragement, and develop healthier coping strategies.
Through counselling, mentorship, peer discussions, and regular follow-up, teenage mothers can be reminded that their circumstances do not define their worth. Support can help them regain confidence, strengthen decision-making, and identify practical steps toward rebuilding their lives.
The impact can be especially meaningful when support continues beyond a single counselling session. Regular contact allows F SSIBU to understand changing needs and connect young mothers with appropriate services where necessary.
Donor support can help cover mentorship sessions, counselling activities, transportation for outreach, communication, and follow-up visits.
Your support can help a young mother who once felt alone discover that she is not forgotten—and that her future can still hold possibility, purpose, and hope.
