Education gives children an important foundation, but vulnerable girls and boys may struggle to remain in school when poverty and household challenges affect their ability to learn consistently.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation is working to provide children at risk of dropping out with support that addresses both their educational journey and their personal development. Through practical skills training, children can discover abilities that complement their education and help them envision productive futures.
Girls and boys can learn skills such as tailoring, sewing, meal fabrication, hairdressing, craft weaving, poultry keeping, modern farming, and entrepreneurship. We are also seeking to equip 20 girls with sewing machines, providing them with an opportunity to develop practical tailoring skills.
These opportunities can help children build confidence, creativity, responsibility, and problem-solving skills. More importantly, they can help children recognize that their current circumstances do not have to determine the possibilities available to them in the future.
Donor support can help provide equipment, training resources, instructors, mentorship, and education support for vulnerable children.
When you support a child at risk of dropping out, you help create an opportunity for that child to remain connected to education while developing skills that can serve them throughout life.
