Teenage mothers living with HIV can experience multiple layers of vulnerability. Stigma may discourage them from seeking support, while poverty and interrupted education can limit their opportunities to become economically independent. Restored Hope for Teenage Mothers is designed to address these challenges through practical support, mentorship, empowerment, and community engagement.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation works to create supportive spaces where young mothers can receive encouragement, discuss challenges, access reliable information, and identify opportunities for personal development. Psychosocial support helps address isolation and emotional challenges, while mentorship encourages young mothers to think beyond their immediate circumstances and work toward achievable goals.
The program also promotes skills development and livelihood-oriented opportunities. Training can help young mothers build practical capabilities that may contribute to future income generation and greater independence. Education support and guidance can also help those seeking to reconnect with learning.
Community engagement is equally important. By encouraging greater understanding and reducing harmful stigma, we seek to create environments where young mothers can participate in community life without being defined solely by their circumstances or HIV status.
Donor support fuels these activities. Contributions help provide training, mentorship, outreach, educational resources, and continued follow-up.
Every donor contribution becomes part of a wider effort to replace isolation with support and limited opportunity with practical pathways forward.
