When a teenage girl becomes a mother, her challenges do not exist in isolation. Her child also depends on her ability to access care, education, information, emotional support, and opportunities for a more stable future.
That is why F SSIBU Mission Foundation works to support teenage mothers while also considering the wellbeing and needs of their children.
Our interventions can include emotional support, mentorship, sexual and reproductive health education, practical skills training, education opportunities, and assistance that responds to the immediate needs of vulnerable young families.
We also encourage young mothers to develop skills that can help them become more confident and economically active. Through areas such as tailoring, hair weaving, computer learning, modern farming, and entrepreneurship, young mothers can begin exploring productive opportunities while continuing to care for their children.
For donors, this is an opportunity to support change across two generations.
When a young mother receives guidance and develops a skill, her child can benefit from the increased knowledge, confidence, and stability she gains. When a child receives care and support, the young mother can have greater opportunity to pursue education and personal development.
Your support can help us reach more young mothers and children facing difficult circumstances and provide practical pathways toward dignity, learning, protection, and opportunity.
Together, we can help young families move beyond immediate vulnerability and begin building stronger futures.
