Supporting a teenage mother means recognizing the needs of two lives that are closely connected. While a young mother needs education, skills, health information, emotional support, and opportunities for personal development, her child also requires care, protection, nutrition, healthcare, and a safe environment in which to grow.
F SSIBU Mission Foundation takes a holistic approach to supporting teenage mothers and their children. Our programs seek to connect young mothers with education, vocational training, mentorship, psychosocial support, and practical livelihood opportunities while addressing essential needs affecting their children.
This integrated approach helps reduce the pressures that can prevent teenage mothers from participating in education or skills development. When a young mother knows that her child is receiving appropriate support, she is better positioned to focus on learning, training, and building a more stable future.
We also promote health and reproductive health awareness, responsible parenting, and personal development so that young mothers can make informed decisions for themselves and their families.
Our objective is not simply to respond to immediate vulnerability. We aim to strengthen the capacity of young mothers to become more resilient, informed, and economically empowered caregivers.
With sustained donor support, we can reach more teenage mothers and their children with coordinated services and opportunities.
Your partnership can help create a stronger foundation for two generations—empowering young mothers while giving their children a safer and more hopeful start in life.
