Cool Stuff We are Doing!

Jaja Byakulya Kubula

This past year 2014 YOU bought land for the children's Oprhange Home,Vocatyion Primary School and a reacreation centrel!

The work was completed on the 18th of october 2014. You are a warrior in the battle against poverty.

Your weapon?

47 pencils in the hands of 47 little girls and boys .

Why? Because you know the only way to successfully combat poverty is with an education.

You are one smart cookie. Unfortunately, getting an education in Uganda is not free. If a child cannot afford a uniform, tuition or school supplies, classroom doors are often slammed in their face. And if a child is female, she has even less opportunities available to her simply because she is a girl.  and most of them drop out of school before their completion of primary seven.

You are stepping in and empowering a community of girls and boys with a vocational carriculum.

You are equipping them with education ,pencils that they will raise to fight poverty. Thank you!  each child will hav vocational skills and a pencil in their hand because of YOU.

Each child will be healthy because you provide them all with access to clean water and plates heavy with nutritious food daily. Each girl will be healthy because you also provide them with support when they transition from small girls to young women and Men.

You are winning this battle and poverty is running scared.

each brick  costs $1 to purchase a brick in Uganda,0.02 for a pencil yet this small expense can prevent girls from going to school every day.

Are you going to let poverty stand in your way?

We didn’t think so.

Your mother would be SO proud.

You are changing the world for a young girl named Dorcus.

Much Love..
