Elite Star Foundation has continued its preparatory efforts for the Housing Rehabilitation for 400 Families in Sokoto project, which aims to improve the safety and living conditions of vulnerable families with children. The project has a total funding target of $240,000, intended to support essential repairs to 400 homes, including roof replacement, wall reinforcement, improved ventilation, and sanitation upgrades. According to the latest available financial information on GlobalGiving, the project has received $0 in donations, leaving the full $240,000 target outstanding. Consequently, rehabilitation work has not yet commenced, as the resources required for implementation remain unavailable.
During this period, Elite Star Foundation has continued preparatory planning, beneficiary identification, and community consultations to support an organized implementation process once funding becomes available. The project remains focused on helping vulnerable families live in safer, healthier, and more dignified homes. Financially, the immediate priority is to secure the resources needed to begin rehabilitation activities and ensure that funds, when received, are directed toward the planned housing improvements and their intended beneficiaries.
