Easter and Christmas are the two most widely celebrated holidays in Uganda. Families travel from all across the country to come together and celebrate over a huge feast.
For the children who do not have families- this can be a difficult time. Fortunately House of Hope understands the need for celebration and unity and held a MASSIVE Easter party for all the children at House of Hope. There were games, sports, and singing followed by a huge feast and sweet sodas. Everyone had a great time and most importantly- family is more than genetics. Family is finding people who love and accept you. We are grateful to have such an amazing family at House of Hope both here in Uganda, and with our well wishers around the globe. A special thanks to all of you who help make House of Hope a reality. With your love and support, hopeless are hopeful.
