The kids in grade Primary 7 at House of Hope just received the results from their PLE Exams and they did amazing! The PLE is the Primary Level Exam and it is used to determine the children’s eligibility to join secondary schools. Fortunately, ALL our kids passed with either a 1st or 2nd grade, which are roughly equivalent to A’s and B’s respectively. We are beyond proud of them!!!!
Such good grades also ensure that each child will be accepted into a secondary school (High School in America) to further their education and give them a further head start to success in their futures.
As House of Hope does not have a secondary school, this also means that we will have to pay for the children’s education, as they will be supported by House of Hope but commuting to and from a nearby secondary school every day.
This amazing accomplishment of our children also creates further financial obligations for House of Hope as we will need to pay the secondary school fees for 21 of our kids. School fees are approximately $370 USD for each child per year of secondary school, and any contributions you can make are greatly appreciated.
We also thank you for all your love and support, because with hope and the generosity of people like you- the hopeless are hopeful.
