During the holy month of Ramadan, securing regular and nutritious meals posed a severe challenge for families in Gaza due to ongoing humanitarian crises. Our "Hot Meal Iftars in Gaza" project directly addressed this critical difficulty by organizing daily iftar distributions throughout the entire 30 days of the month. Thanks to the thoughtful contributions of our donors—who chose between 1-day packages or extended 10, 20, and 30-day support options—YEÇED successfully delivered warm, wholesome meals to families in need. This day-based model ensured a reliable source of nourishment, easing the daily economic burden on households and allowing them to break their fast with warmth, comfort, and dignity.
Beyond providing immediate physical relief, this consistent daily support served as a powerful pillar of emotional solidarity during an incredibly challenging period. By ensuring that families had a dependable evening meal every night of Ramadan, the initiative strengthened community bonds and offered a profound sense of security. These acts of care reminded the vulnerable households that they were not alone, bringing comfort to young minds and inspiring hope amidst chronic hardship. We extend our deepest gratitude to our GlobalGiving community for coming together to safeguard human dignity and sustain lives when it was needed most.
Thank you for your generous support!
