Since our last progress report in April 2016, we have made further progress. Plastering, plumbing and electrical work have been completed. Flooring, external electrical and tiles work will be completed by end of August. The project is now expected to be complete by end of September and the official inauguration of the building will follow. The latest photos of the progress are attached.
As the project is almost coming to a successful close we have nothing but deep gratitude for your support. The following extract from preface to the book "Idea of Justice" by the nobel laureate Dr. Amartya Sen seem appropriate.
---‘In the little world in which children have their existence’, says Pip in Charles Dicken’s Great Expectations, ‘there is nothing so finely perceived and finely felt, as injustice. I expect Pip is right; he vividly recollects after his humiliating encounter with Estella the ‘capricious and violent coercion’ he suffered as a child at the hands of his own sister. But the strong perception of manifest injustice applies to adult human beings as well. What moves us, reasonably enough is not the realization that the world falls short of being completely just-which few of us expect-but there are clearly remediable injustices around us which we want to eliminate.---
We cannot thank you enough.
