In the past couple of months we have completely renovated our building! We hope to be able to accommodate for a small number of pallet shelters to help house the homeless. We have partnered with the United Way, HUD, and several organizations who have pledged to sponsor 1 pallet shelter each to help us reach the goal!
This program will provide emergency shelter for up to 12 people! (fingers crossed)
We are now working on getting our kitchen updated to be able to provide hot meals and cooking classes to our area homeless. This kitchen will support our program as we will no longer have to get meals outside of our facility to be brought in to serve.
One step at a time and we will be on our way!
