A Little Fighter's Journey to Recovery
At just two months old, this little baby came into our care and was diagnosed with Pelvi-Ureteric Junction Obstruction (PUJO), a condition affecting the normal flow of urine from the kidney. After medical evaluation, the doctors advised that he would need two surgical procedures. During the first surgery, a stent was inserted to help improve the drainage of urine from the kidney. A second procedure has been planned in the coming months to remove the stent. The journey has not been easy for such a young baby, but he has shown great strength. Following his first surgery, he is now recovering well and doing much better.
Throughout his treatment and recovery, our caregivers and nurses have been by his side, ensuring that he receives his medicines on time, is closely monitored, receives proper nutrition and care, and is given plenty of love and comfort.
Today, seeing this little baby recovering, smiling and growing stronger is a moment of hope for all of us at Asharan. His journey is not over yet, as he still needs to undergo the second procedure to remove the stent, but with continued medical care, love and support, we are hopeful that he will make a full recovery. Every small improvement is a big victory for this little fighter.
