Two and a half year old Saksham was found abandoned. He was brought to Asharan for the care and protection. He is not able to see but smiles and shows his excitement when some one comes near him. His head scan shows bilateral subdural hematomas. The neurologyst and Neuro surgeons are reviewing his case.
Three years old Situ ( name changed) was rescued by the neighbours after her young mother took her own life by hanging helself from the ceiling. She had come to Delhi to start a new life but things must have gone against her plans. Situ now lives in Asharan with other 21 children; each one of them has a story to tell about why they are not with their parents at such a tender age.
We were able to do EVA mat padding for the infant’s room and the class room this month with your help. Kids will be more safe and warm during this winter. We are grateful to you for supporting these children so that they can live beyond their pain and loss. They need us to stand by them now.
