How Your Donations Have Helped Us
Across the South Africa your donations have made an enormous difference to our communities we care for.
Below are some examples of the care you have helped us provide - and these are just a small fraction of your support. We appreciate of your support and kindness.
As a charity, we provide basic neccessities, food and water, which is fundamental to survival . We strive to exceed expectations by ensuring that charitable funds are used in a timely manner and directed towards specific areas when and where they are most needed, making a real impact and difference to communities we serve.
Hope SA foundation works in partnership with smaller community groups, churches and charities to donate surplus groceries and products to people in need.
We purchased approx 40 x 2000 litre water tanks which were distributed to communities, churches and schools to assist with water supplies after extensive flooding in KZN. Access to clean water has become a huge problem in South Africa, especially now after recent disasters. We need more water tanks and boreholes.
We also supported victims of GBV and donated 3000 Safer women care packs. Items included shower gel, hand and body lotion, lip balm, deodorant, sanitary pads, soap, educationall material and safety tools.
Our daily food drives feeed 400 meals a day in several communities on a rotation basis. Our plan is to open a soup kitchen in the new year and a homeless shelter.
To Date: your support has helped us in feeding more than 500 000 meals since 2020. This is a huge accomplishment only made possible through your donations and support.
Hope SA Has distributed more than 20 000 food hampers with basic neccessities in the flood affected areas and we continue to assist the needy .We have a huge waitlist now for food hampers, as we continue to support families with grocieries for a month.
South Africa’s unemployment rate surged to the highest on a global list of 82 countries monitored by Bloomberg.
The jobless rate rose to 34.4% in the second quarter from 32.6% in the three months through March, Statistics South Africa said Tuesday in a report released in the capital, Pretoria. The median of three economists’ estimates in a Bloomberg survey was 33.2%.
Christmas is a difficult time of year for many families, and all donations will also assist accross the county to Feed a Family this Christmas.
I can’t tell you how wonderful it is to know that we have your support. We thank you for all you do to make a difference in our country. It is only through the kindness of wonderful people that we can continue to give Hope to people in need of a helping hand. THANK YOU and Stay Blessed.
