Project HOPE’s Emergency Response Team is delivering essential aid across Lebanon, including medical care, mental health support, and critical supplies. A mobile medical unit provides primary healthcare, screenings, and vaccinations to displaced families, averaging 74 consultations daily. To meet rising demand, Project HOPE also bolstered nursing support at a primary health clinic. Regional Program Manager Roy Sayegh highlights the deep mental health impact of the conflict, as many struggle with trauma and loss.
To expand mental health support, Project HOPE trained 25 frontline responders in Psychological First Aid, ensuring broader community reach. The team also distributed hygiene kits, winter supplies, and emergency medicine while partnering with the René Mouawad Foundation to improve access to essential medical supplies, reinforcing Lebanon’s healthcare system.
Project HOPE remains committed to responding to the evolving needs of displaced populations and strengthening the health facilities caring for communities recovering from over a year of violence and attempting to build a sustainable, self-sufficient future.
