Hello everyone,
Thank you again for all your support for our work. We hope that you and your loved ones are faring well.
We are excited to announce that we hired a fundraiser to help with overall OWN program development thanks to a generous donation. Sarah Withers is now onboard and cannot say enough good things about her.
The foundation that made this contribution, will renew their contribution next year if we can match over the next year the 40K that they donated to us this year.
We hope you can help us meet this goal of 40k over the next year.
The bees survived the heatwave in the hives that we built this past Spring. We're very happy with these hives as they are very energy efficient for them. We "experimented" with corkboard as an insulator and it has kept them cool and we hope warm this winter.
We have learned a lot over the past three years of beekeeping, and we look forward to when we can translate our beekeeping knowledge to the New Hope Center in Honduras.
Bee well, Bee safe,
Neilly aka Dr. B
