We are deeply grateful for your continued interest in the Homes of Hope project here in Kilifi, Kenya. Thanks to your generosity, we have so far received $25 in donations through GlobalGiving. Every contribution, no matter the size, is a vital step toward our shared vision: ensuring that vulnerable families have a safe, dignified place to call home.

Progress So Far

With the incredible partnership of Shelter Equity, the Homes of Hope initiative has been officially launched. This collaboration has already set in motion the construction of houses for several families in need. The momentum is building — and so is the hope within our community.

Our current pilot phase has seen:

• Five family homes in progress, with wattle work completed and daubing underway.
• Local job creation, as community members are engaged in construction and supply of materials.
• Boosted local economy, with small businesses benefiting from the demand for building supplies.

Why We Need Your Support Now

While the progress is encouraging, the need remains urgent. Many more families in Kilifi are still living in unsafe, inadequate shelters. Our goal is to build more houses — but to do that, we need to significantly increase our funding.
