At EDEN, we recognize that small, timely financial interventions can prevent housing loss and create immediate pathways to stability. Through the Homeless Eviction Fund, flexible assistance is provided to address urgent barriers that place individuals and families at risk of eviction or housing instability.
Between January 1 and June 9, 2026, the fund supported 19 households, representing 95 individuals, distributing a total of $9,117.80. These resources were strategically deployed to address immediate housing needs, with the majority of funding focused on securing housing placements.
Primary Areas of SupportSecurity deposit assistance accounted for the largest share of funding, with 6 requests totaling $6,662.00—more than 70% of total funds distributed. This support enables households to move quickly into stable housing by removing a significant upfront financial barrier.
Tenant assistance for application fees supported 9 requests totaling $480.00, helping individuals access housing opportunities without delay due to screening costs.
Additional tenant supports, including general assistance and furnishings or appliances, accounted for 3 requests totaling $1,819.83, ensuring households could settle into safe and functional living environments.
Storage and moving expenses supported 1 request totaling $155.97, helping preserve belongings and reduce disruption during housing transitions.
