It was a week filled with activity as the children from the Boys' Home took part in sports, arts and crafts activities and even went on a field trip.
Summer camp 2019 at the Boys' Home takes work and planning and commitment - but it was worth every bit of effort as our staff watched the boys grow and learn and simply have a blast.
The highlight of the week was, of course, the field trip to the Bannerghatta National Park. The boys were able to identify animals from their special needs class flash cards - a proud moment for our teachers.
Another amazing accomplishment was that some of the boys were trained to make paper and ribbon flowers during the camp. Our resource people from other centers met with some of the boys and trained them to make colorful flowers which were then displayed during the exhibition on the last day of the camp.
We're proud of our boys and we also want to give a big shout out to our staff at the Boys' Home who give of themselves day after day.
