The House of Life is now officially open and we have our first teen in the program. Her baby is due in December. We are expecting four more teens in the program over the next couple of months and then we will be full in our first phase with five teens and their unborn babies.
We are currently working on procuring funding for phase two which will open two more bedrooms and enable us to receive eight more pregnant teens.
God has been so good as the transformation and healing of our first teen has been beyond anything we expected. She has gone from total hopelessness to a young soon-to-be mother with dreams and plans for the future as she feels protected,safe, and supported for the first time in her life. Prayer, love, faith, stretching, yoga, education and support in a loving home environment are the key ingredients for a healthy body, mind, spirit and soul.
