Do Your Part wishes to thank you for your assistance in helping to provide a wonderful holiday for the children of Illinois. We were very fortunate to be contacted by a company in Illinois that provides parties for special occassions, and wished to donate their services; we connected with them and our partners and made December 15th a very happy day in Washington, IL. The children were greated by a snowman and got their pictures taken with Santa, along with the many gifts they had to choose from. Gift cards were also provided for the older children who also really enjoyed the day.
We also connected with a partner in Coal City and surrounding areas, and were able to support the giving of the holiday season in that area as well. Your generousity combined with that of others went a long, long way in giving these children a bright and joyous day.
Gift cards continue to be given to families in order to purchase necessities and food. All monies still being received will go to the people of Illinois to help with their needs.
