At Casa de la Sal, we firmly believe that every child deserves the opportunity to grow up healthy, protected, and full of hope. Thanks to the generosity and solidarity of donors around the world, during this bimonthly period we continued strengthening our “Childhood Free of HIV” project, supporting children, adolescents, and families affected by HIV in Mexico.
Over the past two months, your support has helped us continue providing comprehensive care focused on prevention, treatment adherence, emotional wellbeing, and access to dignified opportunities for children living with or vulnerable to HIV. Through educational activities, psychosocial accompaniment, nutritional support, and community outreach, we are building safer and healthier futures for hundreds of families.
One of the most meaningful achievements of this period has been the strengthening of our family-centered approach. Parents and caregivers participated in guidance sessions focused on HIV prevention, stigma reduction, and emotional support strategies. These spaces not only provide information, but also create networks of trust, resilience, and hope.
In addition, children and adolescents participating in the program attended recreational and educational workshops designed to promote self-esteem, healthy habits, and life skills. Every smile, every question answered, and every moment of connection reminds us that transforming lives is possible when compassion turns into action.
However, the challenges remain significant. Many families continue facing economic hardship, barriers to healthcare access, and discrimination associated with HIV. This is why your continued support is essential. Every contribution helps us provide medical accompaniment, emotional support, prevention education, and safe spaces for children to thrive free from fear and stigma.
As we move closer to our fundraising goal, we invite more compassionate hearts to join this mission. Together, we can ensure that no child is left behind and that every child has the chance to dream, grow, and live a future free of HIV.
