For nearly two decades, our mission has been to bridge the divide between vulnerable rural Eswatini households and the essential HIV services they require. By confronting the challenges of geographical isolation and financial hardship through both our dedicated clinic and direct community engagement, we have witnessed Eswatini transform from a nation burdened by the highest global infection rates to a model of significant epidemiological progress. This achievement is a testament to the collective strength of national initiatives and the steadfast commitment of partners like you.
Since our last report, we have continued delivering consistent HIV prevention, testing, and treatment services to communities across rural Eswatini. Today, more than 1,000 people living with HIV across our communities rely on our services to access uninterrupted antiretroviral treatment, routine monitoring, counselling, and ongoing support close to home. Each month, we provide an average of 860 ARV refills through our clinic and community outreach services, conduct approximately 70 HIV tests, and initiate 6 new clients on PrEP, ensuring that treatment remains uninterrupted while expanding access to HIV prevention. Alongside every test and treatment visit, our team provides counselling and support that empowers individuals and caregivers to make informed decisions about their health and remain engaged in lifelong care.
Beyond the clinical work, our team continues to walk alongside families facing the hardest chapters of illness; sitting with them, praying with them, and responding to needs that no prescription can address on its own.
Yet our journey is far from over. Many families in remote areas still struggle to access not just steady treatment, but the testing and preventative care that stop new infections before they start and adolescents remain especially vulnerable. As global funding pressures continue to threaten HIV programs across lower-middle income countries like Eswatini, the role of committed donors has never mattered more. Because of you, care continues to reach the communities furthest from help, one test, refill, and empowered person at a time. Thank you for standing with us.
