Higher education to 310 remote rural girls

Thank you for your generous contributions for the unfortunate remote rural girls through esteemed organization GlobalGiving.

Your support / donations enable us to buy school kit, note books etc for the rural girls. we will be distributing and paying school fees in june first week, when the schools reopen after summer holidays.we are waiting for their results and want to know how much is the school fee for this year.

Two months back,three of our new beneficiaries grand mother came to us and said that her daughter died two years back leaving three children. But these children father want to marry some girl and left these children at their grand mother's home and said that your daughter died and i cannot look after your grand children. they approached us for help to educate. we came to know that their family status and found she is aged, very poor and decided to help them with your permission.

CHHASE and Education.

As part of the CHHASE activities, we are identifying the economically disadvantaged poor students in rural areas, where the students are becoming drop outs because of lack of timely educational support, uniforms, chappals, shoes and other needs. In our analysis most of the poor girl students in the High Schools are not attending schools regularly because of poverty, child labour, descrimination among the community. Some of the girls are forcedly sending by the hapless parents to the near by landlords houses to work as domestic servant maids, to take care of the small baby children. 

The Girl Children age group is between 10 year to 16 years and studying from 6th to 12th standard. We are motivating the Girls and Poor parents about the education importance, disadvantages of illeteracy in the evening times. Mean while we are providing Education material support Note books, Test papers, Scale, Compass Box, Shoes, Pens, Pencils, Erasers, Writing Pad, Colour Pencils, Sketches, etc to these economically deprived poor girl children. With this timely educational support the students are motivated and attending school regularly with out any hurdels. The Children parents are very happy for this kind of gesture and expressed their sincere gratitude.

I would like to sincerely thank you all on behalf of the staff and on behalf of the under privileged girl children for your generous donations to CHHASE through globalgiving.

In this thanks giving letter we would like to share some of the most important events with you about the program you have supported. CHHASE is, at present providing education to 310 under privileged rural girl children through our program. Your support helped us to provide writing material ,  school bags, school fee etc.

These children are at risk of drop-out due their family poor conditions.With your support, we are retaining them in school and would like to give them a bright future.

One of our beneficiary parent said that " I am working agricultural labor.I get work not even 80 days in a year. with my meagre income, i am unable to feed my family. inthis condition,i faced lot of trouble to educate my children, Now my child is studying in a good manner, this is because you and CHHASE NGO.I am thanking you for help you are providing for my child education"
