We have had an incredibly busy 10 weeks but the construction of the 2 new classrooms is coming to an end and we will have 60 excited students in the classrooms beginning this Monday!
The only work we have left to do is the installaion of the 'accordion' division wall in the center of the classrooms. This will be completed during the first break from classes in July.
Our high school now features 8 classrooms, 1 computer lab, 1 administration office, 1 outdoor study area, 1 performance stage and a 10000 galon rain catchment sistern.
We now have capacity for over 240 students and this year we have 225 students attending classes daily plus 8 teachers, 1 director and 1 secretary. Our extra curricular offerings include ESL classes twice a week plus guitar classes, visual arts classes and dance classes!
We still are in need of funding support to ensure all of our programs remain well funded and to allow us to continue investing in materials and infrastructure for the high school!
A very special thanks to all of our donors, volunteers, students, contracting team and local community leaders for all of your hard work and dedication!
