Dear friends,
As the end of the year approaches there are a couple more inspiring stories we have to share with you.
“Good day! I am Ivanka! – says this cheerful girl from the photo. – I study in fourth grade, I like to draw and paint a lot. Here are all my paintings. I also learn English and I like it a lot. I am thankful to you for providing such a great opportunity, an opportunity to learn. I wish all of you peace, and to all people in the world I also wish happiness, peace and all the best!”
As Ivanka shows her works of art, her little sister intervenes. “I want to be showing them to,” – she says attempting to be a part of this video thank you. So far she is not as much of the public speaker, but her energy is pouring out.
The girls lost one of their parents during the Euromaidan revolution in 2014. But thanks to your support they are able to achieve their dreams, which makes them so happy, cheerful and energetic.
Another video letter is coming from Zakhar, a very serious young man with an aspiration to gain expertise in information technology:
“Hi everyone! I am Zakhar. I am 15 years old. I dream about becoming an IT-specialist. Hence, I have to have a very good working knowledge of math and English. I am thankful to Partnership for Every Child and all people who showed their support and joined the program for the opportunity to study these subjects”.
The family of Zakhar has also lost one of their dear ones during the events of early 2014 in Ukraine. But the boy has strong motivation and aspiration and, most importantly, the support to have the kind of future he wishes for himself and his family.
They are so different, but also similar. They both have dreams and a chance to live them. But it is thanks to your kind support that they had an opportunity to take first steps towards achievement of these dreams. Both of these kids lost one of their parents in a horrible event, but the feeling that there are people who selflessly care about them and their families helped children become more confident and fear nothing on their way to success. Thanks to you they have a chance to change not only their own lives, but also the lives of people around and lay a ground for building the country their parents fought for in the Revolution of Dignity.
On behalf of Ivanka, Zakhar and all the other children who got better learning opportunities and received a chance to study for their dreams, let me thank you for providing support to this project!
