We took in a beautiful mom, Winnie, and her 9 newborn babies in January. They were saved from a high kill shelter that sadly has no other options that to euthanize pregnant dogs or moms with newborns. Luckily that was not the fate for our Winnie and her 9! All of the babies are thriving and have moved to loving foster homes and will be ready for adoption in about another week. We have our maternity room sterilized and ready for the next mom!
We continue to support several long termers who sadly have not found homes of their own. We pride ourselves in the fact that we refuse to euthanize a dog simply because they have not found a home or their medical needs prevent them from finding a home. We currently have Meesha, a beautiful black lab mix, that we have had in private boarding for over 2 years. We continue to be hopeful that we will find the perfect home for this sweet girl.
We are so grateful to all of you for continuing to support our efforts. As we operate on 100% of your donations, we truly could not do it without all of you.
Thank you!
