Happy 2019! We are busily preparing for the next 365 days of saving dogs. We are all refreshed after the holidays and excited to see what 2019 holds for all of us. We are working with our active foster homes to ensure that everyone is ready for the upcoming year.
We continue to have many of our long term dogs with us. We sometimes laugh that we should change our name to "Help Unwanted, Senior and Misfit" dogs!
Sadly we are repeatedly amazed that so many potential adopters do not see the beauty in so many of our long term dogs. Although many of our dogs bear physical and emotional scars, there is not one that does not have so much love to give. And we can only hope that that special person that can see their beauty will come along. Until then, we are grateful to our foster homes that continue to provide these wonderful dogs with long term foster homes. And to wonderful supporters like you that continue to support us in our efforts. Without these much needed funds, we would simply not be able to care for these long term cases, many of which who have extensive needs.
Fingers crossed that we will be able to provide good news about adoptions of these special dogs in our next report. Until then, we again wish you a happy 2019 and we look forward to the many exciting things to come this year!
