With your support, our Ready to Learn project has been building a new eLearning hub in the Chin Hills near the Indo-Myanmar border.
Cikha was a relatively peaceful town, but a few months ago the conflict in Myanmar reached its doorstep. The local school was attacked and teachers’ accommodation burnt down. One of our field officers shared, “Teachers and students live in constant fear, thinking of fleeing instead of focusing on their future and education.”
Here, where there suddenly are no other schools, the Ready to Learn hub has blossomed into a fully-fledged primary school—affectionately called the Bless Center by the community. Parents came together to add a new classroom, a toilet, and even a playground for the children.
Education continues, and despite the challenges, hope thrives.
Thank you for your continued support, ensuring a brighter future for these children.
