The war in Ukraine has deprived many women of essential items they need. Often, the nearest store is several kilometers away. Some women can no longer carry heavy bags or walk without support. Frequent power outages make it hard to communicate. Without help, many face isolation, and health risks. In 2024, we delivered 17,074 aid packages, and we're continuing in 2025. We offer practical, individualised assistance: Trolley bags help women carry groceries without strain. Walkers restore mobility and reduce the risk of falls. Adult diapers ensure hygiene in conditions of limited medical care. Portable chargers charge phones for safety and communication. We do not send 'standard kits.' We assemble each package based on the individual needs of the woman. Therefore, each woman receives exactly what she really needs: no excess, with attention to dignity and needs.
By restoring women's ability to move around, communicate, and care for themselves, we reduce their isolation, dependence, and health risks. This support enables women to remain active in their communities, maintain their dignity in crisis situations, and develop resilience despite displacement and trauma.
