Dear Asherah Foundation Supporters,

The Asherah Foundation would like to express its deepest gratitude to all of you who continue to support the cause. Thanks to you have have raised $2278 USD Dollars for the Help Women Access Education During Pandemic project. We still have $330 left to achieve our goal, help us to reach it in order to continue supporting these amazing women achieve their goals!
According to the World Health Organization, there have been 42,398 confirmed cases of COVID-19 with 15 deaths from 3 January 2020 to 17 June 2022 in Burundi. In addition, a total of 16,232 vaccine doses had been delivered as of June 5, 2022. Despite COVID-19 and thanks to your support, Evelyne has been able to continue with her education at the International University of Equator in Burundi.
We are pleased to inform you that Evelyn succesfully registered her courses for this semester which started in March 2022. She is currently in her second year of pursuing a bachelor in Business Adminstration and Management. She has succesfully passed courses such as: Accounting and Management, Law and Research, and Money and Taxation — just to mention a few.
Evelyn is a role model for never giving up. During the Burundi Civil War she lost her right leg, but this did not stop her to pursue her bachelor degree. She has expressed her heartfelt gratitude for all the support and encouragement she has received. Furthermore, she wants to be the voice of disabled people from her community who are prone to discrimination.
All these women whom the Asherah Foundation is able to support thanks to all of you, are to be admired and seen as a source of inspiration. Thank you for all your support, help us continue with this mission!
