12 Rickshaws Distributed Under Livelihood Program

By Muhammad Imad Ud Din | Project Leader

Title: 12 Rickshaws Distributed Under Livelihood Program in Lahore

Summary

Alkhidmat Foundation distributed 12 rickshaws (three-wheelers) to deserving individuals in Lahore under its Livelihood Support Program, enabling beneficiaries to earn a sustainable income and support their families with dignity.

This initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s ongoing efforts to promote self-reliance and economic empowerment among vulnerable communities.

Story / Update

Unemployment and rising living costs continue to place immense pressure on low-income families in urban centers like Lahore. Many individuals possess the skills and willingness to work but lack the basic resources needed to generate a stable income.

To address this challenge, Alkhidmat Foundation provided 12 rickshaws to deserving beneficiaries under its livelihood program. These three-wheelers offer an immediate and practical source of income, allowing recipients to earn daily wages through transportation services.

The distribution empowers beneficiaries to become self-reliant, reduce dependency on aid, and improve their families’ quality of life. Recipients expressed gratitude for this opportunity, emphasizing how access to a rickshaw has restored hope and financial stability.
