Spring is in the air, and along with this, we feel a renewed sense of hope and we look forward to brighter days ahead.
Spring has certainly arrived in Purple House Cancer Support as we have a wide range of activities in store to suit everyone's needs.
We have begun work on our garden in Purple House to enhance a much needed outdoor space for both adults and children alike.
This Spring we aim to further support our Children and young adults as they create their own garden for their own use and personal space. Somewhere for children to play with other kids who have lost Mammy or Daddy, Granny or Grandad, or who are living with Cancer in their Family. Somwhere for parents, children, loved ones to sit in a beautiful garden with new friends.
We also have plans to grow our own produce for use in our cooking sessions for everyone to avail of, and install fruit trees.
We already have a pool of garden volunteers who meet regularly with our House and Garden Coordinator, but if you have an interest in becoming involved we would love to hear from you.
If we can support you or someone you know, our doors are open, please do not hesitate to contact us.
