'Cancer can be the most difficult and confusing conversation to have with your children, but there are ways of explaining it sensitively'
These are the words of a 32-year-old widow & mum to two young children, who lost her husband to Cancer.
Thanks to your support, we are able to provide Play Therapy to children living with Cancer, and today we would like to introduce you to our new Play Therapist Louise.
Louise will be working with children at Purple House to ensure that every child who needs us, will receive the support they need.
We Thank You for giving people a place to turn to for support and hope as they live with Cancer.
Also, Thanks to your generous donations, here at Purple House we are getting ready to commence our Autumn Programmes.
Thanks to your support, our services are available every day to people of all ages.
Last week, we attended the launch of National Cancer Survivorship Needs Assessment Report at the National Cancer Control Programme.
As there are nearly 200,000 Cancer Survivors in Ireland today, we are delighted to see their needs being officially recognised.
We are looking forward to working with you and our colleagues on a national level to continue the good work in this area at Purple House Cancer Support Centre.
If we can help you in any way, please do not hesitate to contact us on 012866966 or call into our Cancer Support Centre in Bray any day Monday to Friday.
Thanks again,
Conor
