Help us stop cancerous tumours in Venezuelan dogs

Thank you to everyone that has donated and we hope you are all doing good amid these difficult circumstances worldwide. 

We have been using every dollar raised through this project to buy the much needed vincristine ampoules to treat CTVT cases in Venezuela. Unfortunately, the situation remains very complicated and the need is very great. 

Lately, out of every 10 dogs that we spay & neuter, approximately 6 are showing CTVT in various degrees, especially in cities outside of the country's capital. And what is worst, CTVT has reappered on some of the cases we have treated and neutered.

In the picture, you will meet Guely, one of the cases that was treated thanks to your help and who is now showing a second CTVT.

In spite of the pandemic, we continue to provide chemotherapy services to dogs, to the best of our abilities and our very limited supply.

Thanks to your kind donations, we continue to provide chemotherapy treatments to abandoned dogs in Venezuela that suffer CTVT. In the weeks immediately prior to COVID-19 mandatory quarantine in our country, we were providing treatment for approximately 3 dogs every week.

Contrary to common belief, male dogs also get CTVT and they also pass it along to others, spreading the disease. We are slowly continuing to provide chemotherapy sessions in some areas of our country during the mandatory quarantine in our country.
