Supporting Education during COVID-19

PCI Media partnered with Project BETTER in Mozambique to help children in poor, rural communities, continue learning during the pandemic. We put children at the forefront of the project to increase local capacity for engaging programs. Six young (13-21) radio producers were trained to produce and present special educational programs for children. 72 radio programs were broadcast over 12 weeks in two regions of Mozambique.

We're expanding this strategy to our Ouro Negro program, a national serial radio program that has been on the air for over 5 years.

In the US, we continue to work to raise the additional $24,640 to get Team Survive in schools in the US.
