An Honest Update

We believe you deserve honesty. So far in 2026, this campaign has received very limited donations — and that has directly affected our ability to distribute food and nutritional support at the scale we would like. We have not been able to reach as many families as we did in the past. That is the truth, and we think you should know it.

But here is also the truth: the need has not gone away. If anything, it has grown.

Where the Support Went

With the resources available, we made a deliberate choice: to direct every euro to the most acute crises first. Families losing their homes. Mothers facing serious health challenges with no safety net beneath them. Babies whose situation could not wait.

We have also been fortunate to receive occasional in-kind donations from generous supporters — and while these don't always match exactly what each family needs, we have done our best to make them go as far as possible, filling gaps and stretching every resource. It is a patchwork — and an honest one. But it is not enough, and it is not sustainable.

Why This Campaign Needs You Now

The families we work with do not have reserves. They do not have a plan B. When donations slow down, the gap does not close on its own — it simply means more babies going without proper nutrition, more mothers making impossible choices.

We are not asking you to solve everything. We are asking you to help us get back to doing what we know works: consistent, targeted nutritional support for the most vulnerable infants and young mothers in Bulgaria's Roma communities.

A regular monthly gift — however small — is what allows us to plan, to stock, to show up before a situation becomes a crisis.
