Hello, dear friends!
If you’ve been wondering what we’ve been up to – look no further! The last few months have been busy for our team with many initiatives taking place all at once. Planning our next food campaign has been among these and I’m here to tell you about what’s cooking, not so figuratively speaking!
After the success of our last food donation campaign, thanks to which 150 families received food packages, we are in the process of preparing for the next one which we are aiming to make happen in by early summer.
In the next month we will be reaching out to potential partners from the FMCG industry so that we can increase the impact of the campaign. After a lengthy deliberating process, this time our team has decided to focus on fewer families, but provide food packages which will last longer. Making the decision to decrease the scope of the initiative was not easy, but we believe that this is the most meaningful way to go forward – a significant number of the families we work with live in extreme poverty and as severe precarity for them is a daily fact of life, we want to make sure that they receive support for longer.
We will make sure to let you know how the campaign went – in the meantime, remember that it is your caring and support which make our food campaigns possible and put smiles on hundreds of faces of people in need.
On behalf of our whole team – THANK YOU!
